Bulk import

Bulk import turns a CSV file into scheduled posts. Every row is checked by the server first, so you see every problem before anything is created.

  1. Open Bulk import and upload your CSV.
  2. Review the grid. Rows with a problem are marked with the server’s reason — fix them in place.
  3. Commit. Valid rows become posts and are scheduled the same way as posts you write by hand.
Terminal window
sp import week.csv --dry-run # check every row, create nothing
sp import week.csv # create and schedule

Columns: text, to, at, images, title. Separate several networks or files with ;.

The CLI checks every line first and creates nothing if one is wrong. Finished lines are written to <file>.imported.json and skipped when you run the same command again, so a retry never makes a second post.

How many posts you can import depends on your plan.
